Should I get a cherie currie haircut?

my hair is about 6 inches below shoulder length, and I really want the cut, but I'm scared! I also don't have blonde hair.. its more of an auburn color and the ends are blonde so its an ombre style. my hair is naturally medium brown, and its slightly wavy, but has a nice texture between fine and thick. I don't know if it's easy to style? or if it will even look good on dark hair.. anyone with the hairstyle would be a great answeree to this question!!!
