How many Muslims died because of the pilgrimage to Mecca and why don�t muslims call this " a genocide"?

B/c it's simply not. I'll tell you why, dying in Mecca automatically guarantees you a place in heaven for Muslims. It's considered something good so of course it's sad, but in the long run they're getting rewarded. I would wanna die in Mecca too.
