What is up with Elder Scrolls: Skyrim's Graphics?

Okay, now I read the many Game Informers and many site reviews, is it just me or does Bethesda really crappy texture designers and hair designers? The hair in the official Skyrim site is very glitchy looking, and the clothes on all and e very picture I have seen has been worse than my overhauled Oblivion's graphics. Now don't get me wrong, skin textures, faces, eyes, weapons, world textures, and environment textures are freaking amazing. But that was Oblivion's great parts, so why did Bethesda not improve on the parts already critiqued? They made skin and face soooooooo much better, but they better have Options for my hexa-core and High End graphics Card.
