Minecraft won't open?

It was a few months ago i think, when i downloaded a texture mod for minecraft after i did so minecraft stoped working. Not like it opens but gives me a error message or anything, but it just won't DO anything.. No matter how many times i press it or run as adman, tried re-installing it about 20 times now? I didn't really care for it back then but now all my buds are playing and I'm over here Minecraft-less ;( I did some research about how to remove the texture pack like how you search "%appdata" and find roaming, and then remove the bin file for minecraft but i accidentally deleted everything file in the ".Minecraft" folder and I'm kinda stuck on what to do.
