How do you fix a minecraft mod?

I installed the Minecraft Single-player Commands mod during the 1.6 update, it was working fine during the 1.6.4. update, but it stopped working even after i select it and press "Done" in the Mods and Texture packs tab during the 1.6.6. update. Can anyone inform me on what to do and how to fix this?
