Do you people think about religion? Is it good or bad? More harm than good? Does a god really exist?

Why is the Old Testament so cruel? The Koran has a verse of the sword 9:5, why is it so cruel and evil? Muslims argue their religion is good but the only peaces verses come from Mecca, when Muhammed goes to medina his verses change & are violent ,Do people only pick out the good in their religion? Do people ever question religion or just follow tradition? what are your opinions on these question? How did this world came to being in your view?
